“He will rejoice over you with singing.”
Zephaniah 3:17
The Rejoice Project is transforming the lives of leaders and children in rural, African communities and is empowering and equipping generations of leaders to restore their communities back to God. Choose to Invest believes that every child needs to know there is God in heaven that created them, who deeply loves them, who uniquely made them in His image, and who sent Jesus to rescue, redeem, and restore them. The best way of doing this is by discipling the leaders in those children's communities - training and equipping them with the skills to teach and disciple the children from their own communities in monthly Biblical, character-based virtues.
We believe that introducing the next generation to a healthy, Christ-centered experience is invaluable; especially before their moral worldview is fully developed. That is why we have designed a discipleship program for global communities, taught by indigenous Christian leaders & rooted in God’s word, utilizing the arts, sports, science, experiential learning, and, most importantly, relationships all to know Jesus and make Him known.
Rejoice Camps
Over the years, the Rejoice Project has impacted the students, helping them grow in their faith trust God as they work hard in school & learn to serve those around them.
A gift of $25 will send one child to a Rejoice Project Camp in 2024! This gift provides the arts & crafts supplies for the camp, food during the day & extra take-home resources!
You can let children know they are valued, loved, cared for, saved & rejoiced over by sending them to camp!
Through Rejoice Project, indigenous Christian leaders are trained and discipled, and then they go on to teach and disciple the youth in their own communities. Monthly meetings with area coordinators allow local Rejoice Project Staff to disciple and equip regional leaders with valuable teaching skills and Biblical training.
Rejoice Project becomes sustainable and more impactful by utilizing the the partnership of local church and school community leaders. Retreats help to transform local Rejoice Project team members’ perspectives on the value of the children in their communities, the value of family and inter-tribal collaboration, as well as spiritually empowering them and positioning them for influence to lead their communities to restoration.
Retreats
Rejoice Project camps are hosted throughout the year by service teams traveling to Africa. These camps allow us the unique opportunity to enrich what is already going on through the Rejoice Project by teaching a specific virtue over the course a weekend. In partnership with Rejoice Project team members & area leaders, service teams are able to intentionally reach 150+ children per camp; helping give each student hope and vision for their futures in Christ.
